To successfully organize your drives, you have to accept that each build on the others, and that things are only bad (sins) if you stop there.  If you continue onwards, outwards, upwards, inwards (all at the same time), and carry on past those early drives, you reach the drive for god, which puts you and all your drives into the correct harmony with god (life, reality, nature, whatever).  You are in tune, playing your drives like a symphany.  To what end?  To know god, and to become god (same thing really)

A person, fighting evil for humanity because he believes that we are the highest form of consciousness thus developed…  We are the best hope for the continuance of consciousness.  Then aliens arrive, showing a higher form of consciousness.  Why, then, do/should we exist?

As if each system we invent is merely an failed attempt at god making, clouds coughed out of an exhaust pipe until the continual explosion starts within us.
