- Ganesh, Buddha, and a Donut… -

This is what it is, and that’s pretty much all I’ve got to say about it.

- Ramblings -

I work for most of my day in an office, typical 9-5.  This is a boring way to spend my time, granted, but it does allow for a lot of free thought space (and a paycheck). Every once in a while, while typing away on emails and spreadsheets, the programs and filters I have running in my brain will coalesce a thought or idea that seems particularly significant to me at the time.

Generally, I’ll type these up and email them from my work account to my gmail.  The plan was always to reinvestigation them later, and possibly turn them into something worth writing about.

However, I have recently come to the conclusion that I am better off working on new ideas, rather than revisiting old ones.  Stale thoughts make for stale content, and I would prefer the content here to be as fresh as possible, brewed straight from the neurons’ most recent brush with reality…

And so, in the interst of encouraging that, I am posting everything I’ve been saving in on gmail up on the site, under this new category.  The posts are dated according to when the original email was sent. This way, I can clear out my mind and my inbox…

- Breath Yoga -

The breath always moves.  Yoke your thoughts to the movement of the breath, and through that, touch the moving stream of time.  The breath is the brige between the thought and the reality.  Make your thoughts move.

- Call me Lazarus -

So yes, we are nearly up and running now. Final content (all the photography) to be migrated this week.

Over the holiday, I am hoping to put together something new. Check back in December!

- It’s alive! ALIVE! -

Ok, not quite.

But it’s getting there. I’ve got my templates all in order and I’m now migrating content and finalizing the specifics.

Come next Monday, this baby’ll be going live. Do check back in.

- How it works -

1) You are whole.

2) Something makes you doubt your wholeness.  You begin clinging to a self identity of a less-than-whole person.

3) If you want it, there can be a desire to make yourself whole.

4a) You follow that desire honestly, openly, and morally, and it leads you back toward wholeness.  You lose the desire as you achieve wholeness.

Or

4b) You confuse the object of that desire with the wholeness that it represents, and you spend your life chasing the desire.  This makes you cling to your false less-than-whole identity, because it is only that identity that keep the desire alive.  As long as the desire is alive, you can fulfill it.  But you will never be whole.

4a leads to 5) Once you are sufficiently free of your own false identity of being less-than-whole, you can begin to help others realize that they too can be whole.  At this point, you want to inculcate in them the desire to make themselves whole.  As they cultivate this desire, and their lives lead them into the places they need to be do become whole again, you can help them.  As they become whole, they can help others…

Caveat:  This is neither easy, painless, nor fun (well, not all the time).  But it is truly satisfying.

- I never made promises lightly -
- And there have been some that I’ve broken -

Well, I said I’d come back in a week, and didn’t come back for over a month.
Clearly something isn’t working.

So I am going on official hiatus to try and work out how to make this a more user-friendly site for me. If everything works as I am hoping it will, it will make little to no difference on your end. Things might be a little more professional looking is all.

Keep you fingers crossed for me, OK?
