- Dove Mind -
The descending dove is the mind reuniting with body, two-as-one, realization of magnetic polar nature of the self. The dove descends, clasps snake to it, forms the feathered serpent.
It brings with it the peace that passeth all understanding.

This reminded me there’s supposed to be some link between the dove and the fleur-de-lis, so I did a google, and found /this/:

The really basic fleur-de-lis always struck me as a symbol for the triune god (of whatever tradition) and the single IS-ness underlying the three. But it could also be seen as a kind of a middle path, balance thing, I guess.
But still, this dove thing was kind of a one-off, just wanted to get the thoughts down. Hadn’t realized how closely it ties in with the Compass Rose / Rosy Cross thing I was exploring. Weirder and weirder…
