So, Flash...

I think that Flash can really be abused when designing a website.
It has it's place, but it should never be used to replace HTML.

I believe Flash's is best when used to embed games, widgets, or other things within the overall HTML architecture. Like Youtube.

Having said that, I took one semester of a Flash design class in college. I enjoyed it, although it more focused on game design than on page design (thank you art school). This is the final product of that class, based on this thing I had as a kid. A good time killer, if you have a steady mouse hand...

  - Art Depreciation -

My friends Michael and Matt started a blog where they changed... no... improved classic works of art into hilarious webcomics. Needless to say, I liked it and wanted to help upgrade it from wordpress to a real website (that's right, I said it...)

I contribute to the actual webcomic as well, so check it out, leave some comments. Currently on hiatus, as we are all working on other projects...

  - Medha Khosla -

An aspiring fashion designer, Medha wanted her site to function as an online portfolio of her design work. Like her work, I focused on making this site simple, yet elegant.

Medha is now starting work on a collection of her own.
Can't wait to see the new line up on the site!

Fashion designer May Kosaka wanted her website to reflect the feel of her collections. I worked closely with May to expand her previous site of two pages to the comprehensive whole it is now.

I was involved in both Volume I and
Volume II
, and am currently working with May on Volumes III (to come soon).

The "observant" among you may notice something in common between this site
and my own: "reckless..." "reclus..."

Well, they don't call you observant for nothing. This is my sister's photography site. She's a student and is happy with the site's current slideshow quality; it is the best way to quickly and easily display many individual images. I plan to work with her to add more complicated content, just as soon as she is finished with her classes.

  - Vittorio Sartor -

The photographer for mothe's first collection, Vittorio saw my work on the mothe site and asked for something similar for his own. Playing off the design of his business card, I created a simple layout with the potential for a lot of depth of information.

Vittorio is currently in Italy, so it has been quite some time since we've worked together.
